Jesse Helms Nursing Center provides a safe, secure, and caring home for residents in need of 24-hour skilled nursing care, rehabilitative care and/or long-term care. Residents' care is directed by their private physician and our highly trained staff is committed to providing this care in a compassionate manner and in a way that preserves our residents' dignity.

Jesse Helms Nursing Center, named in honor of Monroe native and former Senator Jesse Helms, opened in May 2007 and includes 29 semi-private and 12 private rooms, a country kitchen, living room, dining room, parlor, rehabilitation gym and courtyard. The Center offers a wide range of services and activities for residents and encourages the involvement of family and friends.
